In the middle you can see theHornleberg, a pilgrimage chapel. Its outstanding steep peak of 907m may have given it its name, or was it the Harelungs, our pagan ancestors, who are said to have awaited the rising of the sun and worshiped the gleaming fireball?

Our apartment is very quietly situated between forest and meadow. A large earth terrace with a gazebo is reserved exclusively for the apartment guests. The cozy and friendly furnishings invite you to linger. Nevertheless, you will find many in the vicinityattractionswho invite you to visit.

In the fully equipped kitchen you can not only prepare your breakfast or dinner, but also a full lunch.

The bathroom

The bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink, hair dryer, magnifying mirror, soap, shower gel, facial tissues and towels and bath towels. A large mirror, enough storage space and an outside window. By the way, there is a separate guest toilet.

Just like the whole apartment is equipped with underfloor heating, the bathroom also has underfloor heating with an additional towel warmer.

In front of the apartment

there is a large earth terrace and behind it a spacious green meadow and a fishing lake the "Scharmattensee". Information and day passes are available from the fishing club,open on weekends and public holidays from 09.00 - 17.00 from May 1st - end of November.

The Southern Black Forest Nature Park

The Southern Black Forest Nature Park covers an area of 394,000 hectares in the extreme south-west of Germany.

It extends from Herbolzheim and Triberg in the north to Waldshut-Tiengen and Lörrach in the south. To the west it includes the foothills of Freiburg and Emmendingen, to the east it stretches to Donaueschingen and Bad_Dürrheim on the Baar plateau.
